New Marvel She-Hulk ad features Windows, Surface and Microsoft Store
Microsoft and Marvel Entertainment are highlighting the not-so-subtle partnership with an overt ad for Disney+’s latest She-Hulk show.
A new ad that combines Microsoft’s Surface Pro 8 with Marvel Entertainment The titular She-Hulk: Attorney at Law character was tweeted over the weekend after the show debuted on Disney+.
In the ad, Jennifer Walters, aka She-Hulk, uses a Surface Pro 8 to manage her busy day as a lawyer and part superhero with setting up client meetings through Outlook, research testing, web browsing, and more casual use at home with a presumably coined dating app designed for Windows 11 tablet mode.

Ultimately, the ad does a decent job of showcasing the Surface Pro 8’s versatility and letting the customer know that there’s a dedicated app in the Microsoft Store to stream the latest Marvel show.
As a fan of Surface devices and the comic book character She-Hulk, I think Microsoft could have sold off a few of its remaining Surface Studios with its She-Hulk promotion. For one thing, she’s a lot taller than the average woman or man and a Surface Studio might be more out of place, as well as her cousin Bruce (Hulk).
Second, they already showed a Surface Studio being used in the courtroom during the show’s first episode. Perhaps after the Surface event that we have on offer, Microsoft could revise its Marvel Entertainment promotions schedule.
The She-Hulk nexus may be the most public display of Microsoft and Marvel Entertainment combined, but Surface devices have been popping up across Marvel properties over the past decade with notable appearances in Agents of SHIELD frequently, Shang Chi and Marvel Defenders.
Microsoft has also stepped up its appearances on other Netflix and network shows such as I have never where everyone is using a Surface Pro or Surface Laptop as well as showing off the Surface Neo which was never in Netflix’s red notice.
I suspect we’re nowhere near the peak of Microsoft Surface product placement or entertainment partnerships with this latest Marvel She-Hulk ad.
