Valheimhowever, still waiting to be updated with the next Mistlands content drop, which Iron Gate States yesterday is still being worked on, although no official date for its release has been given. The survival game launched last year in February 2021 and since then it has slowly seen a stream of bug fixes, fixes and more. Last years Hearth and house The update added a host of changes, including those to combat and stamina, but players have been waiting for the next Mistlands biome ever since we first landed there and found it to be empty.
A new post on the Steam feed indicates that progress is being made, but Iron Gate is currently waiting to give an official release date for the Mistlands update. This is due to some changes the team is making to the update since they tested it, finding that the actual dungeons they put in the Mistlands weren’t as rewarding as they expected. had hoped.
“You could have Lily that we came to the conclusion that some of the Mistlands progression steps weren’t quite in the right order. We put a lot of work into creating nice (and spooky) dungeons for the biome, but realized they didn’t serve progression as much, or feel as rewarding, as we’d hoped. So, after some discussion, we added a special extraction element used for processing and a new kernel; the black core. We’d love to hear your guesses about their use!”
In the meantime, Iron Gate is looking for new hairstyles to add to Valheim, and ask for feedback from the community. The latest patch also fixes a few bugs and adds an experimental patch to the survival game that kicks off the cross-play testing processalthough not much actual information is given on how it will actually work.
